A memorial ceremony was held at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy.

In 2019, the Ministry of Energy received 4092 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity supply, gasification and other issues.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will receive citizens in Siyazan city on January 20 in accordance with the schedule of citizen recepion by the heads and deputy heads of the central executive authroities. Reception will take place at Heydar Aliyev Center in Siyazan district (address: 90 Heydar Aliyev St, Siyazan city) at 11:00.

The 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Italy was held in Rome. Speaking at a meeting of the commission, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov noted the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, one of the country's main trading partners.

Delegations led by the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Italian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano will attend the meeting.

In December, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 771,000 barrels, including 680,000 barrels’ crude oil and 91,000 barrels’ condensate. Daily export of crude oil constituted 457 thousand barrels, while export of condensate and oil products accounted for 84 thousand and 19,9 thousand barrels respectively.
