Trainings on audit were conducted at power plants jointly organized by Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and DNV GL.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov has met with a delegation led by Vice President of the German Bundestag Thomas Oppermann at the Ministry of Energy. During the meeting, the sides discussed the relations between the two countries, energy cooperation and regional issues.

In May, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 776,000 barrels, including 699,000 barrels crude oil and 77,000 barrels condensate. Daily export of crude oil constituted 494 thousand barrels, while export of condensate and oil products accounted for 75 thousand and 14 thousand barrels respectively.

The International Energy Charter Forum will be held in Albania on June 13 of the current year. Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev at the forum.

The next board meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of the Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov. At the meeting discussions are held by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan on implementation of the tasks outlined by the Presidential Decree No. 1209 dated May 29, 2019 "On the acceleration of reforms in the energy sector of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

A meeting with a delegation of Indian businessmen led by Executive Director of the Refex group which operates in the field of alternative energy was held at the Ministry of Energy.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov received citizens at the Ministry of Energy with the participation of representatives of the relevant structural units. About 10 citizens from Garadagh and Nizami districts of Baku, as well as Shirvan city were admitted during the reception.
