Gas production and exports increased compared to oil in Azerbaijan In the first half of the year

According to the operative data, Azerbaijan produced 17.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-June 2020. The production of oil (including condensate) decreased by 1 million tons compared to the same period a year before. "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" accounted for 12.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) produced in the republic while "Shah Deniz" for 1.9 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 3,7 million tons.
Over the six months of current year, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 14.7 million tons. This is 900 thousand tons (5.9%) less than in January-June 2019. 14.1 million tons of oil-condensate were exported by the consortium and 0.6 million tons by SOCAR.   
During the six months of 2020, gas output amounted to 19.3 bcm, which increased by more than 11% (2 bcm) compared to the respective period of last year. 6.3 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 9.4 bcm from Shah Deniz. SOCAR produced 3.6 bcm gas during this period.  
During this period, gas sales amounted to 6.5 bcm, which was 16.9% more compared to the same period previous year. In the January-June, compared to the same period in 2019 5.2 bcm (24.5 % more) gas was exported to Turkey. Gas exported to Georgia was 1.3 bcm. It should be noted that, during this period 1.9 bcm gas was exported to Turkey through TANAP. 
From 30 June 2018 to 1 July 2020, 5.8 bcm gas has been transported to Turkey via TANAP. 
Since its commissioning till July 1, 541.2 million tons oil (including condensate) were extracted from "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" and "Shah Deniz". 512.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) were extracted from ACG, while 28.6 million tons from Shah Deniz. Since their commissioning till 1 July 2020, 541.1 million tons oil (including condensate) were exported from these fields.
During the first half of the year, 171.2 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 126.3 bcm from Shah Deniz. Since its commissioning till July 1, 83.5 bcm gas were exported from "Shah Deniz", 
Over the six months of 2020, Azerbaijan refined 3 million tons of oil.  Oil refinery has been 79 thousand tons less in comparison with the relevant period of the previous year.
