In January-April, 16.7 bcm of natural gas was produced
According to the operative data for January-April 2025, Azerbaijan produced 9.1 million tons of oil (including condensate) during these months. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 5.3 million tons of oil production, Shah Deniz for 1.3 million tons (condensate), and Absheron for 0.2 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 2.3 million tons (including condensate).
During this period, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 7.8 million tons. Among these, consortium accounts for 6.6 million tons, SOCAR for 1 million ton, Absheron for 0.2 million tons.
It should be noted that in April 2025, the daily production of oil (including condensate) was 75.1 thousand tons (566 thousand barrels). Among these, 61.6 thousand tons (455 thousand barrels) were crude oil, 13.5 thousand tons (111 thousand barrel) were condensate.
Oil refining during four months amounted to 1.8 million tons.
In January - April 2025, Azerbaijan produced 16.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas. 4.5 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 9 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 0.5 bcm and 2.7 bcm gas, respectively.
During the reporting period, gas sales amounted to 8 bcm. 4 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 3.1 bcm to Türkiye (1.9 bcm through TANAP), and 0.9 bcm to Georgia.
Since its commissioning till 1 May 2025, 656.8 million tons oil (including condensate) and 480 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 606.9 million tons of oil, 234.2 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, and about 49.9 million tons of condensate and 245.8 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. From this to 1 May 2025, about 654.9 million tons of oil and 176.5 billion cubic meters of gas were exported.
