A meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev and the delegation headed by Aida Sitdikova, EBRD Director for Energy and Natural Resources for Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) visiting our country within the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received the delegation headed by Kurt Donnelly Deputy Assistant Secretary for the US Energy Diplomacy visiting Baku to participate in the 6th Ministerial Meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.

The preparatory work for the 6th Ministerial Meeting within “Southern Gas Corridor” Advisory Council to be held in Baku on 28 February and thirteen countries’ participation was confirmed.

Training Seminar on Development of Renewable Energy Sources in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was organized by Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, was held at ADA University with the participation of “ACWA Power” of Saudi Arabia, “Masdar” of United Arab Emirates, a number of government agencies and international organizations.

In January, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 769,000 barrels, including 678,000 barrels’ crude oil and 91,000 barrels’ condensate.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov held another citizen reception. The citizens were heard by the Minister, and appropriate instructions were given to relevant structural units of the Ministry for the solutions of appeals according to the legislation.
