The 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Italy was held in Rome. Speaking at a meeting of the commission, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov noted the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, one of the country's main trading partners.
1763 appeals were received by the Call Center of the Ministry of Energy in January-December of 2019.

The 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Italy will be held in Rome on January 14. Delegations led by the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Italian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano will attend the meeting.
In December, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 771,000 barrels, including 680,000 barrels’ crude oil and 91,000 barrels’ condensate. Daily export of crude oil constituted 457 thousand barrels, while export of condensate and oil products accounted for 84 thousand and 19,9 thousand barrels respectively.
The Minister of Energy, co-chairman of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Ukraine Parviz Shahbazov came to the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan and sent his condolences on behalf of the Azerbaijani government.
Today at Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, implementation agreements of pilot projects on renewable energy were signed between Ministry of Energy and the companies, “ACWA Power” of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and “Masdar” of the United Arab Emirates.
The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov paid a visit to Turkey to attend the inauguration ceremony of the “Turkish Stream” gas pipeline. Senior government officials from several countries, beside Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin will also participate at the ceremony held in Istanbul today.
