The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will receive citizens in Salyan city on March 2. Reception will take place at Heydar Aliyev Center in Salyan district (address: 136 T. Xalilbayli St) at 11:00.

Training Seminar on Development of Renewable Energy Sources in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was organized by Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, was held at ADA University with the participation of “ACWA Power” of Saudi Arabia, “Masdar” of United Arab Emirates, a number of government agencies and international organizations.

In January, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 769,000 barrels, including 678,000 barrels’ crude oil and 91,000 barrels’ condensate.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov held another citizen reception. The citizens were heard by the Minister, and appropriate instructions were given to relevant structural units of the Ministry for the solutions of appeals according to the legislation. 

On January 31, the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine was held in Kiev. On January 30, “Ukraine - Azerbaijan” round table and the next meeting of the “Azerbaijan-Ukraine Working Group on Energy Cooperation” were held in Kiev. The Azerbaijani delegation first visited the monument erected to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Kiev.

Within the “EU4Energy” program was developed with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the International Energy Charter, the next meeting of the Working Group on the “National Action Plan on Energy Efficiency of Azerbaijan” was held with the participation of international organizations, government agencies and experts.
