The Energy Minister met with his Saudian counterpart in Vienna

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Energy Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Vienna.

The sides exchanged views on the current situation in the global oil market and cooperation with Azerbaijan in the OPEC plus format. Also, the current status of construction of the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron Wind Power Plant, which was founded in January this year, was considered. It was noted that this project implemented by ACWA Power will contribute to the goals of Azerbaijan on renewable energy.

Other areas of mutual interest of bilateral energy cooperation were also discussed during the conversation.
