Who is responsible if the meter is damaged due to the household subscriber’s fault?
According to item 7.6 of the Rules of Electricity Utilization, if the meter is damaged or connection scheme is corrupted due to the fault of the consumer, including the household subscriber the repair, replacement and official inspection shall be performed at his/her own expense. In such case, the power supply enterprise shall be entitled to claim a new meter or its value from him/her instead of the damaged or lost billing meter.
