How to install the billing meters outside the apartment
Pursuant to paragraph 7.10 of the “Rules for the Use of Electricity”, electricity meters used for billing purposes and currently installed inside the apartments of household consumers in residential houses and apartment buildings shall be relocated, at the expense of the electricity supply company, and installed on the outside of the boundary wall of residential houses (or on the facade of the house where there is no boundary wall), at the entrances to apartments in apartment buildings, or on the landings of the relevant apartments.
In newly constructed residential houses and apartment buildings, electricity meters of household consumers shall be installed on the outside of the boundary wall of residential houses (or on the facade of the house where there is no boundary wall), at the entrances to apartments in apartment buildings, or on the landings of the relevant apartments, in an electrical panel protected against unauthorised external access.
