The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov held another citizen reception. Citizens from Baku, Agsu cities, Bilasuvar and Masalli districts were admitted during the reception.

In August, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 749,000 barrels, including 686,000 barrels crude oil and 63,000 barrels condensate.

A meeting with the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was held at the Ministry of Energy with the participation of the representatives of the Energy Regulatory Agency, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources.

The next board meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy. At the meeting the results achieved in the field of renewable energy in the country, expanding the use of existing potential in this field by taking into account the experience of advanced countries, the upcoming tasks, as well as the work done by the ministry and upcoming events for the first half of 2019 were discussed.

The next meeting of Working Group on the preparation of proposals for reforms in this field was held to increase the efficiency of the heating supply system in the country, to meet the consumers` demand in a reliable manner.
