The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov received citizens at the administrative building of Kurdamir branch of the Energy Regulatory Agency in Kurdamir city on December 20 in accordance with the schedule of citizen recepion by the heads and deputy heads of the central executive authorities.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will receive citizens from Kurdamir and Ujar districts in Kurdamir city on December 20 in accordance with the schedule of citizen recepion by the heads and deputy heads of the central executive authorities.

The first meeting was held by the Commission established pursuant to Order dated 05 December 2019 by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Actions for implementing pilot projects on the use of renewable energy sources”.

Azerbaijan was represented by the Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev at the 30th Meeting of the Energy Charter Conference held in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.

In November, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 776,000 barrels, including 687,000 barrels’ crude oil and 89,000 barrels’ condensate.

The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov received citizens at Heydar Aliyev center in Yevlakh city today.

At the VII Ministerial Meeting of OPEC and Non-Opec countries in Vienna, a decision was made to reduce daily oil production by more than 500,000 barrels in the first quarter of 2020.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov paid a visit to Vienna, Austria at the invitation of Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). The Minister will attend the 7th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting, which will be held on December 6.

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov attended 5th Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit and Ministerial Meeting in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo.

The event was organized on final report of Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) by of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Energy, a number of government agencies, international organizations and experts.
