According to the operative data, Azerbaijan produced 23.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-August 2020. The production of oil (including condensate) decreased by 1.8 million tons compared to the same period a year before. 
"Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" accounted for 16 million tons of oil produced in the republic while "Shah Deniz" for 2.4 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 4,8 million tons.
Over the eight months of current year, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 19.2 million tons. This is 1.7 million tons (8%) less than in January-August 2019. 18.4 million tons of oil-condensate were exported by the consortium and 0.8 million tons by SOCAR.  
During the eight months of 2020, gas output amounted to 25.1 bcm, which increased by more than 8.7 % (2 bcm) compared to the respective period of last year. 7.9 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 12.3 bcm from Shah Deniz. SOCAR produced 4,9 bcm gas during this period. 
During this period, gas sales amounted to 8.7 bcm, which was 17.6% more compared to the same period previous year. In the January-August, compared to the same period in 2019, 7.2 bcm (25.3 % more) gas was exported to Turkey. Gas exported to Georgia was 1,5 bcm. It should be noted that, during this period 2,8 bcm gas was exported to Turkey through TANAP. 
From 30 June 2018 to 1 September 2020, 6.7 bcm gas has been transported to Turkey via TANAP. 
Since its commissioning till September 1, 545.5 million tons oil (including condensate) were extracted from "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" and "Shah Deniz", and 544.9 million tons oil (including condensate) were exported. 
172.8 bcm gas were extracted from ACG, while 129.1 bcm gas from Shah Deniz. Since its commissioning till 1 September 2020, 85.7 bcm gas were exported from Shah Deniz.
Over the eight months of 2020, Azerbaijan refined 4 million tons of oil.  Oil refinery has been 201 thousand tons less in comparison with the relevant period of the previous year.
