During the first quarter of 2019, the Ministry of Energy received 795 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity and natural gas supply, installation of meters and other issues.

OPEC publishes special edition called "Baku hosts OPEC and non-OPEC event" which was dedicated to Azerbaijan in March. Articles titled “OPEC and non-OPEC make pilgrimage to Baku, cradle of the oil industry”, “OPEC and Azerbaijan: a strong and enduring partnership”, “Azerbaijan: land of history and prosperity” were published in this edition.

The reception date of the citizens by Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov in Shirvan city, which is scheduled for April 26, has been changed. In March, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 798,000 barrels, including 714,000 barrels crude oil and 84,000 barrels condensate. Daily export of crude oil constituted 586 thousand barrels, while export of condensate and oil products accounted for 84 thousand and 19.7 thousand barrels respectively.

548 appeals were received by the Call Center of the Ministry of Energy in the first quarter of 2019. The appeals mainly covered issues related to electricity and gas supply. 153 of them were related to power supply, 200 to gas supply, 9 to electric and gas meters, 7 to connection to the heating system and 26 to other issues. 53 incoming calls made up gratitude calls for solving the problems.

During the first quarter of 2019, 46 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy. 22 of them were connected to natural gas and 24 to electricity. Articles submitted on 6 cases related to natural gas, which are not properly compiled, have been sent back.
