In the first quarter of 2020, "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" accounted for 6.4 million tons out of 9.3 million tons of oil (including condensate) produced in the country while "Shah Deniz" for 952,000 tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil production amounted to 1.9 million tons.

In the first quarter, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 7.6 million tons. 7.3 mln. tons were exported by the consortium and 324,000 tons by SOCAR. During the first quarter of 2020, 3.5 bcm out of 10 bcm gas production, which increased by 10% compared to the respective period of last year, extracted from ACG, and of which 4.7 bcm from Shah Deniz. SOCAR produced 1.8 bcm gas during this period.

During this period, gas sales corresponding period amounted to 3.57 bcm, which is 11.6% more compared to the corresponding period of last year.  In the first quarter, compared to the respective period in 2019, 2.6 bcm (23% more) gas was exported to Turkey. Gas exported to Georgia was 923 million cm. It should be noted that, during the quarter, 941 million cm gas was exported to Turkey through TANAP. Since its commissioning, about 5 bcm gas has been transported to Turkey via TANAP.

Production and export figures for the "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and "Shah Deniz" fields, which play an important role in the development of Azerbaijan's oil and gas industry, have also been clarified. Thus, since the commissioning of the "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and "Shah Deniz" fields, 534 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 290 bcm gas have been produced till April 1. Until April 1, ACG produced 505 million tons of oil and 168.4 bcm gas. Since its commissioning, "Shah Deniz" has produced 121.5 bcm gas and 29 million tons of condensate until April 1. So far, these fields exported 527 mln. tons of oil (including condensate), 80.3 bcm gas.
