Today "OPEC plus" countries are gathering again

Today, at 20.00 Baku time, the ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC countries will meet online.  The meeting takes place within consultations on issues arising from the 9th Ministerial Meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries.  The meeting, which will be chaired by the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman, co-chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Russia Federation Alexander Novak, will be attended by ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC countries, who signed the "Declaration of Cooperation".  Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will also take part in the discussions of the ministers of "OPEC plus" countries.

It should be reminded that on April 9, at the Ministerial Meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries, it was decided to reduce the daily oil production in three stages by 10-8-6 million barrels respectively from May1to April 2022.
