112 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy in the first quarter

In the first quarter of 2020, 112 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy. 104 of them were connected to natural gas and 8 to electricity. Articles submitted on 75 cases related to natural gas, which are not properly compiled, have been sent back.

As a result of inspections carried out by the Ministry in Baku, Goychay, Lankaran, Kurdamir, Balakan, Sheki and Ismayilli  and other regions, due to spoilage of natural gas on the relevant articles of the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic on Administrative Violations it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 5 cases for minor damage, 6 for administrative violation of the rules of natural gas use, and 1 for administrative violation of the rules of electricity use, 1 for conditional imposition of administrative penalty. A decision was made to terminate administrative proceedings on 18 cases. The Ministry has all decisions placed in the "ASAN Payment" system.  

During the special quarantine regime applied in the country, implementation of proceedings for 6 cases was suspended in order to prevent the Ministry`s employees from communicating and being in contact with other people.
