The first meeting was held by the Commission established pursuant to Order dated 05 December 2019 by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Actions for implementing pilot projects on the use of renewable energy sources”.

Azerbaijan was represented by the Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev at the 30th Meeting of the Energy Charter Conference held in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov attended 5th Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit and Ministerial Meeting in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo.

The event was organized on final report of Renewable Readiness Assessment (RRA) by of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Energy, a number of government agencies, international organizations and experts.

The Ministry of Energy held a meeting with a delegation of French deputies, who are visiting Baku, to get acquainted with cooperation issues with Azerbaijan within EU Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership.
