The Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov`s article titled “Strategic Development Period in the Energy Sector of Azerbaijan”, devoted to “20 October Energy Day” was published in the newspaper of "Respublika".

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov received citizens at the administrative building of Imishli branch of the Energy Regulatory Agency in Imishli on October 18. On the same day, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev received local residents in Agdam and Deputy Minister Elnur Soltanov in Beylagan city.

During 9 months of 2019, 539 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy. 490 of them were connected to natural gas and 49 to electricity. Articles submitted on 125 cases related to natural gas, which are not properly compiled, have been sent back.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov held another citizen reception. Citizens from Baku city, Ujar district were admitted during the reception.

During 9 months of 2019, the Ministry of Energy received 2707 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity supply, gasification and other issues.

In September, daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 755,000 barrels, including 683,000 barrels crude oil and 72,000 barrels condensate.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will receive citizens from Imishli and Bilasuvar districts in Imishli city on October 18. Reception will take place at the administrative building of the Imishli branch of the Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy (address: Imishli- Kurdamir road, Imishli city) at 11:00.

16th meeting of Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Baku.

In the third quarter of 2019, the Ministry of Energy has issued 74 permits for the export, import and transit of goods (works, services, and results of intellectual activity) that are subject to export control. 62 of the issued permits were related to imports of goods subject to export control, 2 to export of goods subject to export control, and 10 to the transit of goods subject to export control.

16th meeting of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation will be held in Baku on October 9. Delegations led by the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission - the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev will attend the meeting.
