Business facilities up to 150 kW are allowed to submit application at Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBD), ASAN Utilities and ASAN service Centers to connect to the electricity network, regardless of the district they are located.

Daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 790,000 barrels in December. 721,000 barrels out of this amount accounted for crude oil and 69,000 barrels the condensate. 617,000 barrels of crude oil, 69,000 barrels of condensate and 13,400 barrels of oil products were exported daily.

The Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy received 118 applications in December 2018 for connection to electricity grid through the Technical Councils operating at ASAN Service and ASAN Utility Centers.

The report on the implementation of the Strategic Road Map on the development of utility services (electricity and heating power, water and gas) in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018, for which the Ministry of Energy acts as a coordinator and is responsible for implementation of 23 main actions, is coming to an end.

The existing "Electronic Services" (www.e-xidmet.minenergy.gov.az) portal of the Ministry of Energy has been revised and put into operation in 2018. During this period, four services implemented by the ministry have been fully digitalized and placed on the Ministry's "Electronic Services" portal.

The Board meeting chaired by the Minister of Parviz Shahbazov was held at the Ministry of Energy to discuss the results of 2018 and the upcoming tasks in 2019.

In the fourth quarter of 2018, the Ministry of Energy has issued 57 permits for the export, import and transit of goods (works, services, and results of intellectual activity) that are subject to export control. 53 of these permits were issued through ASAN Service Center No. 5.
