The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan will attend in OPEC Plus meeting

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov will pay a visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The Minister will participate at the14^th meeting of the Joint OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee that will be held Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia on May 19, 2019.

The current state of the global oil market will be discussed at the meeting. The presentation of OPEC on analysis of trends in the oil market and world economy, as well as the report of production indicators of the Joint Technical Commission for April, will be reviewed. 

A number of bilateral meetings are also planned to hold within the visit.
