The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov held several meetings within the framework of the fifth meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council. During the meeting with Gunter Oettinger, the European Commissioner for Budget and Human Resources, the parties have discussed energy cooperation with the European Union and perspectives for expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor. The importance of organizing the event with the participation of Balkan countries was emphasized.

The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with the Delegation led by Ashok Bargava, the Director of the Energy Division of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who is on a visit to Azerbaijan within the framework of the Fifth Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.

The preparation works for the 5th Ministerial Meeting within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council, which will be held in Baku on February 20, have been completed. The number of countries participating in the meeting has become cleared.
