According to operational data for January-October 2022, 38.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced in Azerbaijan. 11.1 billion cubic meters of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 20.7 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz, 6.6 billion cubic meters from SOCAR. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, gas was produced with an increase of 7.3 percent, i.e. 2.6 billion cubic meters.

During the reporting period, gas sales abroad amounted to 18.2 billion cubic meters, which is 17.4 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year. Within 10 months, 6.9 billion cubic meters of gas were sold to Turkey, 9.3 billion cubic meters to Europe, and 2 billion cubic meters to Georgia. During this period, about 4.7 billion cubic meters of gas was transported to Turkey through TANAP.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz till 1 November  of the current year, 201.2 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and 178.2 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz. During this period, 124.3 billion cubic meters of gas produced from the Shah Deniz was exported.

In January-October 2022, 27.2 million tons of oil were produced in the country (including condensate). Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 17.1 million tons of oil production in the republic, and Shah Deniz for 3.6 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 6,5 million tons (including condensate).

During the reporting period, 21.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) were transported for export. Out of this, consortium accounts for nearly 20.7 million tons, SOCAR for 1.2 million tons.

Since the commissioning of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz till 1 November 2022, about 603 million tons of oil were produced (including condensate). 563.5 million tons of oil were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and 39.5 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz. 601 million tons out of this were exported since 1 November.

During the 10 months of 2022, oil processing in the country amounted to 5.1 million tons.
