Within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and the State Examination Center (SEC), another awareness training session on Gender Equality in the Civil Service was organized.

The training, delivered by Mirana Rustamli, a representative of the State Examination Center, covered a wide range of topics, including the concept of gender, gender equality and stereotypes, the distinction between gender and sex, equal rights of women and men, standards of conduct and responsibilities, the impact of gender equality on the development, management and policies of human resources, gender roles in the workplace, equality in leadership, decision-making and management, violations of gender equality, and other related issues.

During the training, participants were also provided with comprehensive information on the national legislative framework, institutional mechanisms, and international commitments in the field of gender equality.

In addition, statistical data on gender aspects of civil service recruitment examinations, the gender and age distribution of candidates, as well as gender distribution across different position levels were presented to the participants.

The interactive training session was attended by nearly 30 employees of the Ministry of Energy and the agencies under the Ministry.
