Training on the Fundamentals of Leadership and Management was held

A training on Fundamentals of Leadership and Management was organized in cooperation with the State Examination Center (SEC) with the aim of enhancing the knowledge and skills of employees of the Ministry of Energy. The training focused on key aspects of modern management, including effective team management, decision-making, time management, communication, and conflict resolution.

Mirana Rustamli, a representative of the SEC delivered a presentation providing detailed information on the concepts of leadership and management and the key differences between them, as well as decision-making and responsibility, and the importance of taking ethical and legal frameworks into consideration in management activities.

The participants were introduced to five key leadership models and their application in different management situations and performed practical tasks aimed at identifying their own leadership styles. Approaches to effective prioritization and time management, effective communication, conflict management, and emotional intelligence were also reviewed. Interactive discussions were held on the topics covered, and participants’ questions were answered.

A total of 25 employees from the Ministry of Energy, Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency, and Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency participated at the traning.
