International Earth Day

April 22 is International Earth Day. This special day was established by the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2009 and is now celebrated in many countries of the world, as well as in Azerbaijan.

The purpose of creating the day is to protect various ecosystems on our planet, combat climate change, promote the efficient use of energy resources and raise awareness in this area by conducting many environmental campaigns.
