September 21 is Zero Emissions Day. This day dedicated to the fight against climate change has been celebrated since 2008.

Today, the protection of the environment and ecology, the use of environmentally cleaner and more efficient energy sources such as hydro, solar and wind energy are encouraged. On that day, people are urged to use public transport, bicycles instead of individual cars, to prefer walking, and to use less electricity and water in homes and workplaces.

Zero Emissions Day is an opportunity to show solidarity in the fight against climate change, raise awareness and inspire others to join this global movement.
