According to operational data for January-August 2022, Azerbaijan produced 30.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas. 9 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 16.4 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz and 5.2 bcm from SOCAR. Gas was transported with an increase of approximately 2.7 bcm, namely 9.7 percent compared to the relevant period last year.

During the reporting period, gas sales abroad amounted to 14.4 bcm, which is 23 % more than in the same period last year. During 8 months, 5.4 bcm of gas was sold to Turkiye, 1.7 billion cubic meters to Georgia and 7.3 billion cubic meters to Europe. It should be noted that, during this period nearly 3.7 bcm gas was exported to Turkiye through TANAP.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz till 1 September this year, about 199 bcm of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and more than 174 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. During this period, 121 bcm gas was exported from Shah Deniz.

Azerbaijan produced 21.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) in January-August 2022. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 13.8 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 2.9 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 5.1 million tons (including condensate).

The volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 17,6 million tons. Out of this, consortium accounts for nearly 16.6 million tons, SOCAR for 1 million tons.

Since its commissioning till 1 September 2022, nearly 598.9 million tons oil (including condensate) were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 560.2 million tons of oil were extracted from ACG, while 38.7 million tons condensate from Shah Deniz. 597 million tons out of this were exported since 1 September.

Azerbaijan refined 3.9 million tons of oil in January- August 2022.
