An educational event on Human Rights was held at the Ministry of Energy

Within the Human Rights Month, the Ministry of Energy held a round table dedicated to the National Human Rights Day on 18 June.

At the round table, broad information on the necessary legislative framework created in the field of ensuring human and civil rights and freedoms, provisions arising from the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the first fundamental document in this field titled "State Program for the Protection of Human Rights" was provided. Also, information about the legislative documents regulating this field in international law, the accession of our country to international agreements on human rights, improvement of legal mechanisms in this field, development of cooperation with institutions operating in the field of human rights and other topics was brought to attention.
