The meeting of the Working Group on Connection to Power Supply Networks was held

On 18 April, the next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held in video conference format.

The head of the Working Group, Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev made an opening speech and presented the issues on the agenda. Deputy Head of the Working Group, First Deputy Chairman of Azerishig OJSC Ramil Yusifov spoke about innovations implemented in the relevant field, as well as measures taken to simplify technical and administrative procedures.

According to the agenda, the report on the implementation status of the roadmap for 2025 in the first quarter of the current year on the utilities (electricity) indicator of the World Bank's Business Ready report was heard. Comparative statistics on the number of online connections to the power supply network were presented and the results obtained were discussed.

There was also an exchange of views on strengthening communication and improving the quality of service with relevant government agencies and organizations, and proposals on the work to be done at the next stage were told.

The representatives from the Ministries of Energy, Economy, Digital Development and Transport, Internal Affairs, State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Azerishig OJSC, Small and Medium Business Development Agency and Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency participated at the meeting.
