AERA announced results on citizen appeals, commissioning act and permits, project coordination and Technical Councils for February 2021

CONSUMER RIGHTS AND CITIZEN APPEALS

In February, agency received 643 citizen appeals directly and from the Ministry of Energy on electricity, gas supply, heat supply and other fields:

415 - power supply   
117 - gas supply
11- heat supply
100 - various issues.

232 out of 643 appeals were investigated and answered by the Agency ( 3 appeals have been been sent the relevant authorities for investigating and taking appropriate measures);
1 appeal was jointly executed in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy;
316 appeals are currently being implemented;
94 appeals were informative; 24request were letters of thanks related to solving of problems raised. 

POWER SUPPLY AND GAS SUPPLY

Commissioning acts were provided to the external electrical installations of 14 new or reconstructed construction facilities, including the ones that increased capacity and modified its power supply scheme;
Project documents of 11 electrical installations on the power supply to various construction facilities were expertised and agreed;
2 project documents were rejected due to the shortcomings found;
In accordance with the agreed 121 projects, the operation of the completed industrial gas facilities was allowed. 
353 project documents of construction facilities were expertised and agreed. 
1 project documents were rejected due to the shortcomings found;
The Agency found out that 1 facilities were connected to electricity networks without technical documentation.
The Agency found out that 2 facilities were connected to electricity networks without technical documentation.
29 protocols on Administrative Violations were prepared by Agency, and decisions on them were made;
The technical condition of 8 electric meters was checked with the participation of the representatives of “Azerenergy” OJSC, “Azerishig” OJSC.

TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS IN BUDGET-FUNDED ENTERPRISES

17 technical investigations were carried out among consumers related to technical operation of electrical facilities, observance of the safety rules and the status of the use of electricity;
15 technical inspections were carried out to investigate the status of observance of the requirements of the efficient use of gas, "Rules on the Use of Gas" and reliable operation of gas equipment, as well as other normative legal acts.   

TEST OF PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

On the basis of consumers' appeals, 63 electro technical staff and safety engineers in 8 enterprises has been checked for knowledge of labor safety, technical operation and safety, and proposals were made to increase knowledge and methodological assistance was provided. 

TECHNICAL COUNCILS

221 appeals were received for connection of enterprises to electricity network through the Technical Councils. All applications were received at Technical Councils in 17 "ASAN  service" and 1 "ASAN Kommunal" Centers, Khachmaz SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises).   All these appeals have been pos
