A number of meetings were held with representatives of persons with disabilities

In order to encourage all groups of society to participate in the energy sector, as well as to inform about the country's energy policy and projects, a number of consultation meetings were held with representatives of the Public Associations of the Support for the Deaf PU and the Society for the Visually Impaired of Azerbaijan.

At the meetings, the difficulties and needs of the members of the public union in the field of energy were heard, they were informed about the functions and activities of the Ministry of Energy, as well as its subordinate bodies, at the same time, consultations were held to make information on the energy field accessible and understandable to people with hearing and vision impairment.

During the meetings, ways to improve communication and cooperation between the Ministry and associations were also discussed. Some video materials prepared with sign language translation related to the activities of the Ministry and its subordinate bodies were presented, opinions and suggestions of the members of the associations were heard. Taking into account their recommendations, it was agreed to prepare new videos.

The members of the Public Associations were thanked for their contributions, and it was emphasized that the cooperation would be continued in the future.
