According to operational data for January-June 2023, Azerbaijan produced 24.1 bcm of natural gas. 6.5 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 13.2 bcm from Shah Deniz. SOCAR produced 4.4 bcm gas during this period. Gas was transported with an increase of 0.7 bcm, namely 3 per cent compared to the relevant period of last year.

During this period, gas sales amounted to 12 bcm, which was 7.5 % more compared to the same period previous year. In the January-June, about 5 bcm gas was exported to Türkiye, 5.7 bcm gas to Europe, 1.3 bcm to Georgia. It should be noted that, during this period more than 2.8 bcm gas was exported to Türkiye through TANAP.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz till 1 July 2023, about 209.9 bcm of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and more than 195.9 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. During this period, more than 138.1 bcm gas were exported from Shah Deniz.

Azerbaijan produced 15.2 million tons of oil (including condensate) during 6 months.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 9.1 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 2.2 million tons (condensate). SOCAR's oil output amounted to 3.9 million tons (including condensate).

During the reporting period, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to 12.7 million tons. Out of this, consortium accounts for nearly 11.3 million tons, SOCAR for 1.4 million tons.

Since its commissioning till 1 July 2023, more than 618.4 million tons oil (including condensate) were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 576 million tons of crude oil were extracted from ACG, while about 42.4 million tons condensate from Shah Deniz. Till 1 July 2023, about 616.5 million tons were exported.

In January-June of the current year, oil refining in the country amounted to 3.1 million tons.
