Power plants in Mingachevir operate under normal conditions

The attacks of the Armenian Armed Forces against the power plants in Mingachevir, ignoring the humanitarian cease-fire agreement are another crime against energy and environmental security in the region. The regional catastrophe that could occur was prevented through the neutralization of missiles by the military air defence forces of our army. The Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant located in Mingachevir, which is the largest thermal power plant in the South Caucasus and the Mingachevir Hydro Power Plant currently keep operating under normal conditions.

It should be noted that the appeal of Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, reflecting the information on targeting the oil and power infrastructure of Azerbaijan and the call to condemn the provocations of Armenia were published on the official page of the International Energy Charter Secretariat. The appeal was also sent to the OPEC Plus countries by the OPEC General Secretariat.
