The new website of the Ministry of Energy has been put into use

Official website of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan www.minenergy.gov.az has been put into use with a new design. In addition to the design, the updated site has been improved in terms of content compared to the previous version, designed in compliance with modern requirements, the accessibility, functionality of sections and services has been improved and enriched with new information.

“All news”, “All events”, “Ministry”, “Documents”, “Programs and Reports”, “International Cooperation”, "Public Relations” and “Useful Information” sections have been updated on the main page. Additions were made to the reports on the state programs carried out by the ministry, cooperations with international organizations, list of memorandums and agreements, legislative documents. The sub-section "International agreements" was created and included the signed declarations, protocols of intent, protocols and implementation agreements. “Oil”, “Gas”, “Power engineering”, “Renewable energy and energy efficiency”, “Statistics” sections were presented in a new design and with detailed information at the website. 

The main focus is on ensuring the convenience for users. In order to facilitate citizens' appeal to and registration for reception by the ministry, accessibility to the “Call Center” section has been improved, and opportunities to directly register for the reception by the minister and deputy ministers by using the “Request for reception” window have been provided. Also, a link for "Request for reception" was established through the “Reception days” window in the “Contact” section of the site, and the reception schedule of citizens was updated and added to the site.

“Questions and answers” and “Useful information” sections are also brought to the attention on the main page in order to ensure that users are aware of the issues of interest on electricity and gas supply.

"Photo gallery” and "Video gallery" sections have been improved and enriched with new photos and videos.

Links to the Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry, as well as to the sites of other agencies were also included to the main page of the website.

One of the advantages of the site integrated into social networks is the availability of a mobile version. Thus, it is possible to benefit from the opportunities of the site by using mobile devices. One of the changes is the placement of data with date and time.

The site will be available in Azerbaijani and English. The English version of the website is currently under final completion and will be available soon.
