During the first quarter of 2019, 46 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy. 22 of them were connected to natural gas and 24 to electricity. Articles submitted on 6 cases related to natural gas, which are not properly compiled, have been sent back.

As a result of inspections carried out by the Ministry in Agsu, Agdash, Jalilabad, Lankaran, Zagatala and other regions, due to spoilage of natural gas on the relevant articles of the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic on Administrative Violations it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 6 cases for minor damage, and 2 for administrative violation of the rules of natural gas use. A decision was made to terminate administrative proceedings on 8 cases.

According to the inspections carried out in Guba, Mingachevir, Imishli, Shabran, Gazakh, Shaki and other regions during the quarter, as a result of spoilage of natural gas it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 11 cases for minor damage, and 9 for administrative violation of the rules of natural gas use. In addition, it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 2 cases for distortion or delay in submission of accounting and reporting on electricity generation, transmission and consumption, and 2 for illegal interruption of electric power lines or termination of electricity supply without the written notification in cases where the legislation requires to send written notification to the consumer. It was decided to place all decisions in the "ASAN Payment" system.
