Ministry of Energy celebrates professional holiday of civil servants

An online event was held at the Ministry of Energy on the occasion of 23 June - professional holiday of civil servants.

Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov, Head of the Department of Civil Service and HR Asad Ismayilov and the Head of the Civil Service Department of the State Examination Center Vugar Asgarov delivered a speech at the event. The speakers congratulated the civil servants on this remarkable day and wished them success in their activities. It was noted that civil servants, who play an important role in the management system of our country, as always today they contribute to the strengthening of our statehood. At the event, it was brought to the attention that important points in the field of civil service and the need to be guided by these criteria in the work process at all times. At the same time, information was provided on the reforms related to the Civil Service, and it was emphasized that the normative legal framework in this area was constantly improved. The importance of the application of the competency model in the field of civil service and individual development plans of civil servants was noted.

Then, the employees of civil service in various structures of the Ministry shared their experience in this field.

It should be reminded that according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated 5 May 2006, June 23 is celebrated as the day of professional holiday of civil servants in our country.
