It was noted that cooperation with foreign investors has already begun to increase the share of renewable energy sources in electricity production capacity to 30% in the next 10 years and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 35% in comparison with its level in1990. In this direction, information was given about the projects to be implemented with ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) and Masdar (the United Arab Emirates). It was mentioned that about $ 500 million worth of foreign investment will be directed to the renewable energy sector through these projects. Cooperation with foreign investors is of great importance in the process of transformation of the liberated territories into a "green energy" zone and restoration of Karabakh.
It should be noted that it is planned to discuss issues such as renewable energy, global targets in energy transition, as well as the introduction of advanced technologies to ensure cross-sectoral energy transition at the 2-days video conference.
