Minister of Energy meets with the Ambassador of Egypt to Azerbaijan

Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has met with Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Azerbaijan Hisham Mohamed Nagy Abdel Hamid.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt in the field of energy. Information was given about the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and implemented projects in the relevant field. It was emphasized that there are opportunities for expanding cooperation between public and private institutions in fields such as petrochemicals, liquefied natural gas, and renewable energy.

The participation opportunities of Egyptian companies in the projects of restoration and reconstruction of the energy infrastructure of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, as well as the provision of energy supplies at the expense of “green energy” were considered. The representatives of the Egyptian private sector operating in the relevant field were invited to Azerbaijan.
