The next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks was held

On December 24, the next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held in video conference format.

In his opening speech, the head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev noted that the meeting coincided with the 60th birth anniversary of President Ilham Aliyev and stressed that the continuous improvement of the business environment and the development of entrepreneurship are among the priorities in the development strategy defined by the President.

At the meeting, it was noted that the communication strategy for connecting to the power supply network was improved and approved by taking into account the opinions and proposals submitted by the working group members. Proposals on specific plans for the strategy to be presented to the public using the opportunities of mass media were presented.

Results of the Working Group's activities for 2021 and implementation status of uncompleted activities in the Action Plan were discussed. It was noted that the draft action plan for 2022 was submitted to the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

A presentation was made on the results of a survey conducted among entrepreneurs in the fourth quarter of this year on the reforms in the field of connection to the power supply network, the results were analyzed and steps to be taken to increase satisfaction were identified.

The representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economy, Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Azerishig OJSC, State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations,  BHM Law Firm took part at the meeting.
