The next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks was held

On 19 July, the next meeting of the Working Group on connection to power supply networks of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held in video conference format.

Openning the video conference the head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Energy Samir Valiyev, informed about the agenda of the meeting. In accordance with the agenda, the implementation status of the measures envisaged in the Action Plan of the Working Group for 2022 and the Communication Strategy on connecting to the power supply network was reviewed.

At the meeting, presentations and speeches were made on the analysis of the electronic services provided by Azerishig OJSC through the e-government portal, the assessment of the process of connecting small and medium businesses to the electricity supply network, as well as the involvement of the private sector in the field of renewable energy sources and the creation of a favorable investment environment. At the same time, the implementation of the measures being the main executive of the Ministry of Energy in the Working Group on corporate governance, investments, protection of investors` interests, business ethics and corporate social responsibility of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was discussed.
