539 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy in 9 months of current year

During 9 months of 2019, 539 cases of administrative violations were reviewed at the Ministry of Energy. 490 of them were connected to natural gas and 49 to electricity. Articles submitted on 125 cases related to natural gas, which are not properly compiled, have been sent back.

As a result of inspections carried out by the Ministry in Agsu,Lankaran, Beylagan, Guba, Kurdamir, Gadabay, Salyan, Neftchala, Gobustan, Shamakhi, Balakan, Zaqatala, Shamkir and other regions, due to spoilage of natural gas on the relevant articles of the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic on Administrative Violations it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 140 cases for minor damage, 34 for administrative violation of the rules of natural gas use, and 2 for distortion or delay in submission of accounting and reporting on electricity generation, transmission and consumption. A decision was made to terminate administrative proceedings on 189 cases.

According to the inspections carried out in Baku, Sumgayit, Agjabadi, Gobustan, Sheki, Jalilabad, Shamakhi, Gabala,  Mingachevir, Shabran, Lankaran and other regions during 9 months of the year, as a result of spoilage of natural gas it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 17 cases for minor damage, and 24 for administrative violation of the rules of natural gas use. In addition, it was decided to impose administrative penalty on 2 cases for distortion or delay in submission of accounting and reporting on electricity generation, transmission and consumption, and 6 for illegal interruption of electric power lines or termination of electricity supply without the written notification in cases where the legislation requires to send written notification to the consumer.

During the period, it was decided to place all decisions in the "ASAN Payment" system.
