During the first quarter of 2019, the Ministry of Energy received 795 appeals on consumers' rights protection, electricity and natural gas supply, installation of meters and other issues.

357 of them were related to installation of electric meters, calculation of fines and penalties, the supply of technical conditions for connection to power supply network, termination of electricity supply, uselessness of electrical equipment and devices for operation and other shortcomings in electricity supply.

216 of appeals were applications and complaints related to connecting to gas supply, interruptions in the supply of gas, defects of gas meters, excessive debt collection and other problems in the supply of gas.    

8 of them were related to heat energy supply, 165 appeals covered various issues, and 49 of them were letters of thanks related to solving of problems raised.

During this period 566 appeals have been investigated and answered according to the legislation by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Regulatory Agency, and 45 appeals have been sent the relevant authorities for taking appropriate measures.

During the first quarter, senior officials received citizens, and relevant instructions were given to investigate issues raised deeply and to take measures for them.  

In order to effectively organize to receive citizens` appeals by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry has prepared citizen reception schedule for senior officials for 2019 and posted it on the website of Ministry.
