The average interruption duration of electricity supply to the customer in the capital city Baku during 2018 was 0.86 hours (based on SAIDI indicator).

During the last year, the average number of interruptions in the electricity supply to the customer (based on SAIFI indicator) was 0.96.

These indicators are lower than previous years, both from time and number perspectives. The main reason is the complete reconstruction of 110 and 35 kW substations of Baku distribution network in recent years, completion of underground cabling works in over 90 per cent of the areas in the capital Baku, construction of circular power supply schemes and connection of networks to the counter-emergency automation.
