The 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy will be held
The 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Italy will be held in Rome on January 14. Delegations led by the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Italian Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano will attend the meeting.
The agenda of the Commission includes cooperation between the two countries on trade and economic, energy, logistics and infrastructure, agriculture, culture and tourism. There will also be a session on investment opportunities and perispectives in both countries with the participation of AZPROMO, Azerbaijan Investment Company, The Agency for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and relevant Italian agencies.
Following the discussion of issues on the agenda, a Protocol will be signed on the outcomes of the 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
Within the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov is expected to meet with Italian Minister of Economic Development Stefano Patuanelli, as well as “Ansaldo Energia”, “Maire Tecnimont”, “Technip FMC”, “DBA Group” and “Alstom Italia” companies.
