In July 2021, daily oil production (including condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 717 thousand barrels, including 606 thousand barrels’ crude oil and 111 thousand barrels’ condensate.

According to the decision adopted at the Ministerial Meeting of OPEC plus countries in April this year, Azerbaijan's commitment to cut output in July was 98 thousand barrels, and daily crude oil production was planned to increase by 10 thousand barrels compared to June, reaching 620 thousand barrels.

It should be noted that since August 1, the new Declaration of Cooperation adopted at the 19th Ministerial Meeting of OPEC plus countries held last month is in force. According to the new agreement, starting from August, it is planned to increase daily crude oil production by OPEC plus countries by 400,000 barrels per month. As long as this decision is in force, Azerbaijan will be able to increase its daily crude oil production by about 7,000 barrels per month and, accordingly, reduce its commitment of output cut.
