Webinar on anti-corruption legislation and its application was held

Online seminar on "Assessment of corruption risks and their prevention", "Prevention of conflicts of interest” was held jointly by the Ministry of Energy and the Government – Civil Society Dialogue Platform on Open Government Initiative (OGI) with the participation of the staff of the ministry and members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy.
Trainer, the Head of Constitutional Research Fund Alimammad Nuriyev made a presentation on corruption related offenses and responsibility for these offenses. The information was provided about the concept of corruption, the subjects of corruption offenses, the concept of an official, the types of corruption offenses, the prevention of corruption, the responsibility for violation of financial requirements, payment for illegally acquired property, privileges or concessions, and the responsibility of officials, individuals or legal entities for corruption offenses were explained on the basis of examples. Information on the prevention and elimination of the consequences of conflicts of interest in the activities of civil servants and other officials was brought to the attention. At the end of the seminar, participants' questions on the subject were answered.
