The meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held

The next meeting of the Technical Committee on standardization of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy was held at the Ministry of Energy.

Deputy Head of Administration of the Ministry Khalida Masimova spoke about the action plan of the Technical Committee chaired by her for 2025 and said that three standards had been approved over the past two months. At the current meeting “AZS EN 12102:2024 Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages, heat pumps, process chillers and dehumidifiers with electrically driven compressors - Determination of the sound power level - Part 1: Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages, heat pumps for space heating and cooling, dehumidifiers and process chillers”, “AZS EN 12900:2024 Refrigerant compressors - Rating conditions, tolerances and presentation of performance data”, “AZS EN 14511-3:2025 - Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages and heat pumps for space heating and cooling and process chillers, with electrically driven compressors - Part 3: Test methods” and “AZS IEC 62552-1:2025 - Household refrigerating appliances - Characteristics and test methods - Part 1: General requirements” were discussed.

Later, representatives of the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute Firuza Bahri and Elman Alikhanov made a presentation and gave detailed information about the process of improving the standard projects.

The final recommendations of the members of the Technical Committee on the projects were heard, and it was agreed that 4 standard projects put up for discussion will be adopted in a short time taking into account the opinions and proposals put forward by the members of the committee.
