Cooperation in the field of renewable energy was discussed with Chinese companies

Within the COP29, several documents in the field of green energy were signed with Chinese companies. An Implementation Agreement on 160 MW solar energy project in Fuzuli was signed between Ministry of Energy, China Energy Overseas Investment Co. Ltd. and SOCAR Green LLC. Also Ministry Of Energy and China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of renewable energy in Azerbaijan. In addition, the Ministry of Energy and China Datang Co. Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the development of renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan.  The Memorandum provides for cooperation with the company in the areas of investing in renewable energy projects, conducting feasibility studies, relevant research, and exploring the possibilities of creating a Research and Development Center for Renewable Energy in Azerbaijan.
