Meeting was held with EBRD Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus

Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov met with Elisabetta Falcetti, the EBRD Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus.

During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the existing cooperation with the Bank in the energy sector, reviewed current projects in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and transition to low-carbon energy, and exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities. The progress of the auction process on the Gobustan SPP, carried out with the support of the EBRD, was evaluated.

The counterparty was informed about the steps taken to create the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe and Azerbaijan-Central Asia-Europe green energy corridors, the initiatives related to COP29 and the measures planned in the field of energy.
