Training on renewable energy sources was held

ADA University organized a training on the transition to clean energy in Azerbaijan with the support of the Ministry of Energy and the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Presentations on offshore wind energy, green hydrogen production, reduction of greenhouse gases, decarbonization of the oil and gas sector were demonstrated at the training, and the United Kingdom shared its experience in the recent transition to clean energy with the participants. The participants` questions were answered during the Q&A Session.

The representatives from the Ministry of Energy, AERA, AREA as well as the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, SOCAR, bp, Azerenergy OJSC and Azerishiq OJSC attended the training.
