As part of the visit to Italy, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov visited CESI.  A wide-ranging meeting was held with the management of the company's CEO, Nicola Melchiotti. Presentations were made about the services of CESI, one of the world's leading consulting companies on energy, technology and innovation, which works in more than 70 countries in the fields of planning, design of energy transmission infrastructure, modernization of networks, and renewable energy sources.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the course of the process of feasibility study of the Green Energy Corridor between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary and cooperation on the connection of renewable energy powers to the network. The importance of green energy links providing energy security and energy transition in a wide geography was discussed. It was noted that the green energy corridors initiative was considered as one of the priorities of COP29's activity agenda and it was agreed to hold a joint event within the COP.

The Minister also visited the laboratory of CESI, where various types of tests aimed at ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical components and systems were examined.
